His work centers on creative infrastructures and the politics of sound technologies, which he explores from various angles within sound studies, interaction design, and the digital humanities.

Their interests include cyborg/cyberfeminism, (hand)crafting culture, communal living, radio production, frolicking in the woods, and queer theory. Val resides and revels in the liminal and the interdisciplinary.

    Eva Stern-Rodriguez is a Wellesley College sophomore pursuing a major in Media Arts and Science and a minor in English. Eva’s interests are lean more towards Media Arts and Fine Arts,specifically web design, oil painting, drawing, and digital imaging.

He currently works in the Synthetic Neurobiology Group located in the Media Lab, where he implements computer vision and machine learning methods to automate many experimental procedures. Deniz believes that computation and digital technologies carry immense potential to influence various fields.
